The Barbershop is a small, two-chair shop on Willeston Street, Wellington. We've been here since 2011 — same location, same trade, same two barbers doing the work.
Most barbershops rotate staff. You end up briefing a new face every visit and the cut varies. That's not how we work. If you booked with Jon last time, you'll get Jon this time. If you walked in and got Chris, Chris is who you'll see when you come back.
We focus on classic men's cuts — fades, crew cuts, scissor cuts, beard work — and we keep the prices and services simple. No upsells, no add-ons, no 'mens grooming experience.' Just a haircut.

Tuesday to Friday, no appointment needed. Saturday can be busy — book if you want to lock in a time.

Standard cut $35, cut + beard $50. Same price whether it's your first time or your fiftieth.
